Liu Research Laboratories, LLC (LRL) is a leading company in the fields of pyrometry, color science, optics, and gemology. LRL does R&D projects and provides consultant services by the four laboratories: Pyyrometry Laboratory, Optics Laboratory, Color Science Laboratory, and Gemological Laboratory. Our research and development works have achieved in two patents, several new products, and many publications with major science and technology advances. LRL sells its products and provides consultant services in pyormetry, color science, optics, and gemology worldwide. The Pryometry Laboratory has been developing an alexandrite effect spectropyrometer for measuring temperature up to 100,000 degree. The pyrometer can measure a radiating body with any type of spectral radiation. It can measure the temperature of a radiating body with spectral lines, other types of pyrometer cannot! The research projects in the Optics Laboratory include the optimal design of colored glass filter, a gemological UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer, and the optical phenomena in the nature and gemstones. The Color Science Laboratory mainly provides consultant services, such as color imaging algorithm development, spectral color matching, color measurement of gemstones, and instrumental color grading of pearls and colored stones. We have developed several types of daylight sources and display light sources using incandescent lamps and colored glass filters. We provide colored glass filters and attachments for MR16 and MR11 incandescent lamps to simulating daylight and display light sources. The Gemological Laboratory has been engaging in gemological researches, and also provides jadeite identification services. The research projects including identification of treated type IIa diamonds, the diamond colors caused by plastic deformation with other color centers, the alexandrite effect, aand colors phenomena in gemstones. We currently provide express and extra express jadeite identification service using FTIR and the advanced digital imaging system. We supply gem materials including synthetic alexandrite, cubic zorconia, color change glasses, light sources, and colored glass filters. We provide colored glass filter design service to optimally match the spectral curves requested by customers. All of our products are the best quality with very competitive prices. |
